It's basically impossible to screw up Mother's Day breakfast in bed. You could bring her cold toast and she'd still love it.
But we think she deserves the best, so we've put together some ideas for you that will certainly make her day...
1. Nothing beats the classic bacon and eggs. Serve with toast or an English muffin, spoon over some hollandaise sauce and snipped chives to garnish.
2. No mum could resist pancakes. Choose savoury and add some cheese, ham and tomato or a sweet treat with with berries and cream.
3. Fire up your blender and surprise your mum with a colourful and decadent açai bowl. Grab an açai smoothie pack from your local supermarket and start creating a masterpiece with granola, fresh fruit, juice and shredded coconut.
4. Some delicious fresh pastries served with a hot cup of tea and her favourite magazine. Flowers optional.
The good news is that no matter what it looks like or tastes like, the simple act of delivering breakfast to mum in bed this Sunday will be more than enough.
